Performed on a tooth that is fully visible above the gum line. The tooth is gently loosened within its socket and removed without incisions. Completed in minutes under local anesthesia with minimal recovery time required.
Required for teeth broken at the gum line, partially erupted, or possessing curved root structures requiring sectioning. A small tissue incision is made to safely access and lift the tooth. Recovery is slightly longer than simple paths.
Local anesthesia is administered thoroughly before any instruments are used. You will feel touch pressure but no sharp pain. Nitrous oxide sedation is available.
The tooth is gently loosened and removed. For surgical extractions, a minor tissue incision is made and the tooth may be sectioned into smaller pieces for easy removal.
Sterile gauze is placed to control initial bleeding. A socket preservation bone graft is placed if pre-planned. Detailed post-operative instructions are provided.
Replacement options are finalized before you leave — whether an implant consultation is booked or partial denture planning is initiated.
